What is it?

It is an on-line web application for sending SMS messages and managing a LabsMobile account.

In the WebSMS application you can manage all services such as credit recharging, statistics or delivery results, preferences, contacts calendar, billing, etc.

    Invoices corresponding to top-ups are sent on the first working day of the month following purchase. Invoices are sent by email and can be viewed and downloaded from the Invoices tab.

    Users can enter and modify the information that appears on the invoice at any time. This invoice information is also used to validate new accounts and to enable services.

    Users receive notifications and warnings related to activity on their account. These communications are sent by email and through the Notifications tab. Notifications highlight any errors or issues with completeing messaging operations and also inform customers of any account administration.

    The app always shows the most updated tariffs and SMS characteristics for each country (for example delivery or dynamic sender confirmation). Network operator regulations and technology varies depending on the country, which you need to keep in mind when sending international messages and campaigns.

    Users are always kept informed of how much credit they have remaining, and the app makes a record of all expenditure and top-ups that have been made. With an up-to-date account of what has been consumed, users can keep track of their credit and the top-ups they've purchased since the account was created.

  • Duplicate message filter

    By default, all accounts have a filter which blocks duplicated messages. SMS messages with the same text and sender, and sent to the same mobile number, will be blocked for 60 minutes. The recipient will only receive the first sent message, and the following message tagged as a duplicate - it will not be sent and it will not use up credit. This filter can be deactivated under the Preferences section of the account.

    There is also a traffic limit on all accounts to prevent unintentional or unauthorized use. By default, this traffic is set at 100,000 messages per day and at 100,000 messages per bulk message operation. These two limits can be modified in the Preferences section of your account.

    This tab of the application is where you can modify your settings and configure your account. Preferences include limits, security, local configurations (such as currency, language, daily use, default country), available services and the default settings of all bulk messaging operations.

  • Sending errors

    Users can look at errors or issues in sent messages. This tab will display all the details and reasons behind errors generated accidentally through bulk messaging and campaigns sent through the WebSMS or the API.

  • SMSPing
    Preferences and settings - SMSPing

    Service that checks that a web or URL is working correctly. This service detects crashes or unauthorized uses of a website by sending an SMS message directly to the website manager. As soon as the website is working again correctly, another message will be sent containing the updated information.

    Any account can configure and manage user subaccounts. These subaccounts can be limited in function for use by any company or organization. Keeping track of credit can be independent, or managed by the account administrator.

The WebSMS application is free.

All users registered with LabsMobile have unlimited access to WebSMS.

How can I activate it?

  • Sign up for free, create a user account here.
  • After signing up, you will receive a username and password to access the WebSMS application.
