This tutorial explains how to attach links or files to a SMS campaign using shortlinks and monitor the clicks of the recipients.

Log into your WebSMS account

After sign up a new account you will receive a welcome email containing the initial password. You can access your account by entering your username (registration email) and password in https://www.labsmobile.com/en/login.

Add a new link

If you wish to attach a link go to Links from the main menu of your account. On this screen you can see all the links saved in your account. Click on Add new link and enter the required fields: name and URL of the link.

Add a new file

If you wish to attach a file, go to Files from the main menu of your account. On this screen you can see all the files imported into your account. Click on Add new file and enter the required fields: name and file.

Check the link or file visualization

The list of Links or Files shows the assigned short link (shortlinkformat labsmo.bi). This shortlink have to be present in the SMS. Check that the content of this short link is displayed correctly on any mobile device.

Send SMS messages

Access any sending form (Send basic, Send to agenda or Send from file) and enter the shortlink labsmo.bi in the message text. You must select it from the dropdown located at the top of the message field.

Check the results and clicks

In the section Monitoring you can see the number of clicks that have occurred on the shortlinks and also all the data of these clicks (you must activate the option Information of each click).

View statistics for messages and clicks

In the sections Statistics - Messages and Statistics - Clicks you can get the statistics reports of any sending and also the clicks made by the recipients.
